The Benefits of Scalp Massages.
Whether using your fingers or a scalp massager, adding this step of a scalp massage to your child’s hair regimen could produce excellent results. Research studies show that not only are scalp massages relaxing, scalp massages also enhance blood circulation, strengthen hair follicles, and may result in thicker hair due to stimulation.
How often you massage your child’s scalp is your discretion. However, research studies show that when scalp massages are frequent (every day, every other day, etc.,) the better results. “How do I do a scalp massage on my child?” you may ask? Here are steps that work for my children on wash days, which is every four days:
- Shampoo.
- Condition.
- Dry hair.
- Drop a few drops of either 4 All Coils Udoraah or Eulodia Scalp Oils onto the scalp.
- Gently use my fingers to apply pressure while moving my fingers around in a circular motion for five minutes.
- Detangle and begin the styling process.
